The body top is made of solid European spruce, which is native to Europe.
It has characteristics similar to Adirondack spruce, and its bright, powerful tone envelops the entire body.

The rosette is decorated with a combination of pearl and wood on the top of the body.
The sides and back are made of selected mahogany, a name given to mahogany as a sign of its high quality due to its grain and color.

The fingerboard is made of Merida's proprietary resin material, OMEGA (HPL), which has the advantage of being less affected by humidity and temperature.
The edges of the fingerboard are decorated with mother-of-pearl that shines in rainbow colors.

The bridge is made of OMEGA (HPL) like the fingerboard and has a satin finish.
