An active 24-fret guitar that feels passive!
The Beta series was born from the concept of achieving the feel of Atelier Z's flagship "Magnitude" series even in a 24-fret specification. This model is the Beta4 Standard, featuring a buffer amp and simple controls.
It features Atelier Z's signature wood combination: an ash body with a maple fingerboard, and it's equipped with Atelier Z's original pickup model. Though active, it lacks EQ controls, offering instead 2 volume knobs, 1 tone knob, and a mini switch for Series/Parallel pickup selection. Finished in See-Through Black, the ash wood grain becomes distinctly visible up close.
It achieves a natural tone reminiscent of its passiveBass lineage while offering a wide frequency response with excellent clarity, delivering a modern sound that's both vibrant and focused.
It delivers well-defined, crisp tones for fingerstyle playing and offers Atelier's signature fast response and sharp attack for slap bass, making it a versatile instrument suitable for any genre!
