Gibson / 2024 ELVIS Dove
" A model custom-built from a 1969 Gibson Dove"
The story of this guitar begins when Elvis received a 1969 Gibson Dove as a gift from his father, Vernon Presley.
It is believed to have been used in concerts from around 1971 to 1975, and there is documentation showing him playing a black-finished Dove at the 1973 “Aloha from Hawaii” concert.
—A black-finished body that stands out against his white outfit
The square-shouldered body, featuring a spruce top, is finished in a glossy black that exudes the beauty of a grand piano, adorned with white binding and multicolored celluloid inlays around the body.

—Black large pickguard
A 2-piece black large pickguard was installed to match the black body.

—Fingerboard
The rosewood fingerboard features double parallelogram inlays crafted from mother-of-pearl that sparkle brilliantly.

- Neck
The mahogany neck features a slim profile and offers a comfortable grip.

- Bridge
The rosewood bridge features dove-shaped inlays and short saddles, producing a powerful sound.

—Headstock
The oversized headstock features Gibson’s modern logo alongside a gleaming crown inlay.
The truss rod cover is engraved with the word "ELVIS."
