Martin / 2023 CTM D-45 "The68"
The Martin D-45 debuted as a standard model in 1938.
As Martin’s flagship model, it captivates countless artists and acoustic guitar enthusiasts with its beauty and a rich, expansive tone reminiscent of a grand piano, and remains a timelessly coveted instrument to this day.
In 1942, production of the D-45 was unfortunately discontinued due to material shortages caused by World War II, but in 1968, led by Mike Longworth, production of the D-45 resumed.
This instrument is a reissue of a D-45 from the historic era when production was resumed.
