Have you ever felt that "all guitars sound pretty much the same"? That initial thrill when you pick up a guitar gradually fades into a sense of "sounds like something I've heard before." What you truly want is a unique resonance that's yours alone, impossible to find elsewhere. But how to find it? The answer is surprisingly hard to discover.
Your music can only be created by you. Likewise, the guitar that receives that expression should also be one of a kind.
Takumi Morinaka's "Lucier Made Premium" guitars, each meticulously handcrafted one by one, are truly one-of-a-kind instruments. This isn't merely about visual differences; it means every aspect—the attack, the resonance structure—is perfected through a tuning process unique to that single guitar.
If you seek a companion for "your music" that is not a copy, this guitar may be the one.
This instrument appears to have been specially crafted for the live space "Rakudo" in Sanjo, Niigata.
The body features extremely rare all-quilted maple. Moreover, only the finest wood was selected, creating a visually and acoustically unique character.
The acoustic design employs Morris's proprietary AXL Bracing. This system fuses traditional lattice construction with X-bracing, evenly and delicately controlling the resonance of the entire top. This design is meticulously fine-tuned for each individual guitar, adjusting the depth and angle of the cutaways to maximize the unique characteristics of the top wood.
Furthermore, the slightly longer 652mm scale length delivers rich bass and extended sustain that holds up well under drop tunings. Yet, playability remains exceptionally high.
The resulting sound is characterized by clarity without harshness, with a three-dimensional tonal quality. It's not flashy, yet once played, it leaves an impression. Its distinct "sonic contour," unlike any other guitar, supports your expression.
Mr. Morinaka states: "No two guitars made by a luthier are the same. Even using the same wood, the finish will never be identical." As this quote indicates, it is not an industrial product, but a true work of art born not from molds, but from "ears, fingers, and sensibility."
Even if you order the same wood and design, the grain, the resonance, and the feel transmitted to your fingers will be completely different. For you who cherish music as a means of expression in life. This guitar should become your one and only companion, staying by your side for a long time.
