A CTM D-28 ordered from Martin by Miki Gakki.
The top features selected Swiss Spruce.
Swiss Spruce is a conifer from the Alpine highlands, characterized by its fine-grained wood.
For the sides and back, we selected Guatemalan rosewood, prized for its beautiful stripes reminiscent of Brazilian rosewood.
This is a special wood used in Martin's custom models.
The hard wood produces a beautiful tone combining brilliance and warmth.
While the D-28 typically features black and white multi-color purfling, this instrument employs herringbone purfling.
This is a special specification unique to custom orders.
A long saddle, rather than a short saddle, has been selected.
While technically a D-28 in spec, this instrument evokes the pre-war and wartime D-28s produced up to 1947.
The neck features a modern V-shape.
Its gentle triangular profile makes it comfortable even for players who find traditional V-shapes uncomfortable.

The herringbone trim and long saddle give it a pre-war style look.
The beautiful striped Guatemalan rosewood, reminiscent of Brazilian rosewood, creates a luxurious, eye-catching instrument.
It produces a rich, deep bass tone that resonates beautifully.

- The body top shows minor picking marks and small surface blemishes. However, there are no additional strap pins or enlarged strap pin holes at the body end, and it remains in good condition.
- The upper sides of the body back's waist feature adhesive repairs where the cellophane finish has peeled.
[Playing Condition]
- The playing condition is excellent with no muffled tones or buzzing.
- String height at the 12th fret: 2.4mm on the 6th string side, 2.0mm on the 1st string side.
- Saddle relief: Approximately 3.0mm to 3.5mm

Wind instruments (up to 1 year)
Upon arrival, we perform internal tube cleaning, appropriate replacement of consumables, and necessary repairs and maintenance. Should the instrument malfunction or cease to produce sound during normal use, we will address the issue free of charge.
