Collings / 2013 OM1
It is said that Bill Collings, the company’s founder, began building guitars in 1970 in Texas, USA, using his kitchen table and a small set of tools.
In 1992, he moved his workshop to Austin, Texas, where he continues to craft guitars using exceptional craftsmanship and carefully selected woods.
This instrument features an OM-sized body.
The fine-grained spruce and the beautiful grain of the Honduran mahogany clearly indicate the use of high-quality wood.
The tortoiseshell-patterned binding adorning the body, the V-shaped neck with its comfortable grip, and the well-balanced tone are all hallmarks of a highly skilled craftsman.
It can be described as a work of art that embodies the spirit of Bill’s high-quality instrument craftsmanship while retaining a sense of authenticity.
