Unlike the standard lineup, Custom Shop products feature specially selected, high-grade wood and are handcrafted by artisans, making each one truly unique.
This instrument is a Style-28 ordered through the Custom Shop.

The top features selected Adirondack spruce.
It is a beautiful wood with a fine, evenly packed grain.
Used even in the 40 series, this reflects the Custom Shop's uncompromising approach to craftsmanship.
The body is adorned with multicolor binding.
Indian rosewood with quarter-sawn grain is used for the sides and back.
The characteristic contrast of rosewood is enhanced by a gloss finish for a lustrous appearance.
The back strip features the so-called checkerboard pattern.
The fingerboard is crafted from jet-black ebony and adorned with the Style-28's signature dot position markers.
The neck is crafted from select hardwood with a moderate thickness.
Its satin finish provides a comfortable feel and excellent playability.
The bridge, like the fingerboard, is crafted from jet-black ebony and features a short saddle.
The Indian rosewood veneer headstock features a squared shape reminiscent of the 1930s-40s, tapering to a sleek form toward the nut.
