Explanation
Gibson / 2002 J-45
[Demo Video]
The top is made of spruce and finished in a vintage sunburst color. The single-ring rosette suggests it was likely crafted with mid-1950s models in mind.
While many models reproduce the large pickguard, this one features a small pickguard. It features a richly colored tortoiseshell pattern design.
Mahogany is used for the sides and back, finished in a dark walnut color.
The fingerboard is rosewood with dot position markers.
The neck is mahogany. The slim taper neck provides a comfortable grip, ideal for modern music.
The bridge is rosewood with a short saddle. White bridge pins are used.
The slim headstock features Gibson's modern logo applied via silk screen, and a 1P bell-shaped truss rod cover is used.
KLUSON independent tuning machines are used. The white peg buttons perfectly complement the slim headstock.
[Staff Comment: Hoshino]
This is a beautiful instrument with fine-grained spruce. The two-tone sunburst finish gives it a very sophisticated look. Also recommended as a first J-45.
