Dragon Ash Bassist IKUZONE's Signature Model!
This is the ESP signature model of Dragon Ash bassist Ikuzo Baba, known as “IKUZONE,” who sadly passed away in 2012.
It features an alder body and an ebony fingerboard, and is equipped with a Seymour Duncan SMB-4D pickup. Controls consist only of volume and tone knobs (one of which is a dummy knob), along with a selector switch for series, parallel, and coil-tap modes.
While its flashy appearance is sure to catch the eye, the guitar is well-balanced when a strap is attached, and its design clearly prioritizes playability.
With Music Man-style pickups, it delivers a satisfying sense of low-mid power when played, while also offering a responsive, versatile sound that seems well-suited for distortion. The selector switch allows you to instantly switch between tonal character and power, providing simple yet versatile sound-shaping capabilities.
With its bold, flashy look reminiscent of an American car, this guitar truly embodies the spirit of Ikuzo Baba, aka “IKUZONE”!
