Let us introduce this artistic SJ-200 VINE, crafted by Gibson Custom Shop Master Luthier Ren Ferguson. The guitars
he creates feature artistic inlay work—including botanical motifs that seem to pulsate with life. Ren Ferguson says
his artistic sensibility was influenced by his mother, who was a draftsman and sculptor.

A defining feature of the guitars crafted by Ren Ferguson is the artistic vine inlay that spreads across the entire fingerboard, along with the carvings on the pickguard. The vine inlay, shimmering with iridescent colors against the
ebony, is so breathtaking that it takes your breath away the moment you see it.
The large tortoiseshell-patterned pickguard, edged in white celluloid, is entirely adorned with hand-carved vine motifs, and white ink accentuates the design.
The finely grained spruce body features abalone purfling and a rosette that make the SJ body stand out.
Beautiful flame maple is used for the sides and back, and like the top, it features Abalone trim. The
backstrip features the “Patern A” pattern seen around 1940.
The ebony open-moustache bridge typically features only mother-of-pearl inlays, but here, abalone decoration has been added to frame the square inlays.
This specification is truly unique to custom guitars.
The neck features a three-piece construction with flamed maple on the outer layers and rosewood in the center.
On the headstock, in addition to the Gibson script logo, luxurious vine inlays add a dazzling sparkle.
Furthermore, the bell-shaped truss rod cover is crafted from mother-of-pearl and carefully chamfered.
The headstock is surrounded by multi-binding.
The tuning machines are Waverly open-back pegs, and each gold button is individually engraved with a vine motif. It exudes a sense of luxury distinct from models like the
Imperial or Waffleback.

and it is in excellent condition. - There is no muffled sound or buzzing, and it plays well.
