Martin / 1996 000-28 12-Fret GE
"A model produced in a limited edition of 367 pieces."
This instrument is part of the Golden Era series, which recreates models from Martin’s golden age of the 1930s and 1940s, specifically reproducing the 000-28 12-Fret model, which was unfortunately discontinued in 1933.
– 12-Fret Joint Neck
The 20-fret neck, extending from a slotted headstock featuring the C.F. Martin classic logo, is set into the body at the 12th fret.
The fingerboard is made of ebony and features diamond-square inlays, while the neck is crafted from mahogany and finished in a V-shape.
It gives a classic impression in both appearance and feel.

- 12-Fret 000-Size Body
The top is made of spruce and features ivory-colored celluloid inlays along with herringbone trim.
These specifications are characteristic of pre-war and wartime models.
Although the body size is 000 (triple-O), unlike the 14-fret joint 000, it is characterized by a clean, streamlined shape at the top of the body.

—Sides/Back
Straight-grained Indian rosewood is used, and the ivoroid inlays accentuate the body shape.
The center strip features a zigzag pattern, lending an authentic look.

—Bridge
The ebony pyramid bridge is fitted with a short saddle, and ivory-colored bridge pins with black dots are Recruit.

- Tuning Machines
Features WAVERLY open-back tuners.
The subtle patina of the metal is simply irresistible.
