To answer that desire, Fender established the Fender Custom Shop in 1987. It's a special division created by gathering the finest craftsmen to revive the sound and look of the vintage era for today. This 1992 1957 Stratocaster is precisely one of those precious instruments crafted by the early Custom Shop.
Featuring a small headstock with spaghetti logo, V-shaped one-piece maple neck, 8-point single-ply pickguard, and alder body, its specifications faithfully replicate the original 1957 model. It is equipped with custom-wound pickups hand-wound at the Custom Shop, drawing out every nuance of delicate picking and the beauty of harmonics.
