Ovation broke through that tradition = constraint.
Applying aerospace technology and redesigning the guitar from an acoustic engineering perspective resulted in the Super Adamas.
Founder Charles Kaman directly applied the technology used in aircraft rotors to musical instruments.
The result was a structure not meant to mimic the resonance of wood, but to "deliver sound more accurately and powerfully."
The top is not spruce, but a sandwich structure just 1.27mm thick, layered with carbon graphite and birch.
It boasts astonishing rigidity and vibrational properties, despite being one-third the thickness of a typical wooden top.
The sides and back employ high-durability, high-reflectivity Liracode.
Furthermore, the "Multi-Hole" design dispenses with a large central soundhole, instead distributing multiple small holes across the upper section. This eliminates unwanted resonance while enhancing sound directionality.
The Deep Bowl's rich low end possesses a depth that seems to vibrate the space itself, while the OP-24 preamp enables precise sound shaping at your fingertips, tailored to any venue or environment.
Refusing to rest on tradition, Super Adamas achieved unprecedented stability and expressiveness by meticulously selecting materials and designs solely for the purpose of "good sound."

- Wood has been applied to the fingerboard end, leaving only a slight gap.

Upon arrival, we perform internal tube cleaning, appropriate replacement of consumables, and necessary repairs and maintenance. Should the instrument malfunction or cease to produce sound during normal use, we will address the issue free of charge.
