The American Vintage series was launched in 1982. Production ended in 2018, and the lineage has since been passed down to the American Original and American Vintage II series.
American Vintage is a series that continues to enjoy popularity even though it has been discontinued.
This model, manufactured in the 1990s, features an alder body and a single-piece maple neck.
The joint plate has been replaced and there is no serial number, but we believe that both the neck and body are original based on the stamp on the neck pocket.
The date on the neck has faded and the last digit is unreadable, but it is from the 1990s.
This guitar has had a truss rod replacement repair in the past, and there are repair marks on the fingerboard near the nut that appear to have been caused by the repair. However, it has been properly repaired and there are no problems with playing.
Both the neck and body have been refinished, and the head logo decal has been redecaled.
I know it might sound a bit overwhelming to list all the things we need to tell you, but we've adjusted the neck to be perfectly straight and the truss rod works perfectly. The pickups are original, and the electrical system is in excellent condition!
If you don't care about the originality of the paint, logo, serial number, etc., this is a great value P-bass in player condition!
