A special design by John Entwistle, bassist of The Who.Bass！

The Buzzard model was created by John Entwistle, the legendary bassist of The Who, and Hans Peter Wilfer, the founder of Warwick.
The name "Buzzard" refers to a bird of prey. As the name suggests, its fierce appearance leaves a strong impression.

In 1985, Hans Peter Wilfer received a special instrument from John Entwistle that was suited to his playing style.BassThey received a request to create it. They discussed John's ideas together and brought them to life, creating design sketches along the way.

Among Warwick's many models, this is the most unique, released in 1985 and discontinued in 1995.
Reissued in 2003, two years after John Entwistle's death, it became a symbol of John Entwistle.BassIt is very popular.

This unit is an original 1986 model.
Since no spec sheet or other documentation is included, this is speculation, but the body material appears to be zebrawood. The fretboard is wenge.

The inlay is not in the Arabic numeral style, suggesting it may have been a modified or custom-made piece.
The headstock is the larger type from before the miniaturization. The bridge is Warwick's original split bridge.

The pickups are EMG P-type pickups arranged in a combination of standard and inverted positions, resulting in a configuration that clearly defines the bass strings.
The controls consist of Volume/Balve/2-Band EQ (stacked).

The look is incredibly impactful. The body balance makes sense considering the later revision and miniaturization of the headstock design, but it's an electric guitar.BassThis is a truly unique and unparalleled piece in history!
