The 1982 Ibanez AR300GL is one such often-overlooked masterpiece that still commands a strong presence today.Launched by Hoshino Gakki for overseas markets, Ibanez initiated "The ARTIST SERIES" in the 1970s to directly incorporate player feedback. This philosophy culminated in the highly refined form of the symmetrical double cutaway body and a design thoroughly focused on practicality.
The AR300 combines a mahogany body with a mahogany neck in a set-neck construction, paired with a maple top. This achieves both warm midrange and lustrous high frequencies. The Gold Top finish of the AR300GL adds visual appeal to its already accomplished design.Furthermore, the Tri-Sound Switch allows you to freely switch between three distinct characters: humbucking, coil-tapped, and phase-out.
