Explanation
Are you a true Les Paul guitar fan who feels like you want to experience the passion of those Japanese vintage guitars from that era, striving to surpass the original? Or are you looking for the ultimate Les Paul model that makes no compromises in looks, sound, or historical background?
Pursuing the ideal Japanese Burst is by no means easy. High-quality tonewoods, a finish that evokes the spirit of the era, and the pickups—the heart of the instrument—all come together in perfect balance. Finding one like that is such a rare find that you might only encounter it once in a lifetime.
The item we'll be introducing today is,consignmentThis Tokai LS-200 is a masterpiece that the owner declared to be a Japanese treasure, assembled with extraordinary passion in the aim of creating the ultimate Japanese burst guitar.
The finest wood materials and looks: a luxurious solid wood top with a cashew finish that exudes a unique depth and luster.RecruitThe binding, which is distinctly more yellowish than the LS-150 and below, and the dignified gold Tokai logo exude an aura befitting a top-of-the-line model. The pickups are Greco DRY-Z, which are highly coveted by Japanese vintage guitar fans.
The front pickup is mounted in the opposite direction to normal. This is due to the difference in construction between Tokai, which used a long drill to process the wiring holes just like Gibson, and Greco, which used a router to create the wiring path. Therefore, the Greco pickup could not be installed unless it was mounted in the reverse direction. This long drill specification is a point that will be irresistible to enthusiasts, as it gives a glimpse into how much Tokai was committed to the original manufacturing methods at the time.
The tuning pegs, tailpiece, and assembly have been replaced, and the guitar has been upgraded for improved practicality and sound.
The craftsmanship of Tokai at that time, consignmentThis LS-200 is a miraculous fusion of the owner's passion for Japanese burst sound. Modified guitars with such a strong background and compelling storytelling rarely appear on the market.consignmentThis is a truly unique and one-of-a-kind piece, a treasure of Japan, that we were fortunate enough to acquire. Please experience this Japanese treasure with your own hands.
