Martin / 1976 D-76
"A model produced in a limited run of 1,976 units to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the United States"
—D-45-grade wood
The top features Sitka spruce with a uniform grain pattern that catches the eye.
It is said that this wood is of the same grade as that used in the Style-45.
The body is adorned with white binding and multicolored purfling combining white and black.
The rosette features a white/black ring, along with herringbone inlay.

—3-piece rosewood
Straight-grained Indian rosewood is used for the sides and back.
The back is constructed in three pieces, similar to the D-35, and features herringbone inlay on the back strip.
The appearance is also luxurious.

- Star inlays representing the 13 colonies
The ebony fingerboard features 13 star inlays at the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 15th, 17th, and 19th frets.
This design is inspired by the 13 red and white stripes of the American flag.

—Neck
The mahogany neck features a soft V-shape with a moderate thickness, providing a comfortable grip.

ーBridge
The ebony down-belly bridge is fitted with a short saddle and features bridge pins with black dots.

—American Eagle
The headstock, featuring an Indian rosewood veneer, is adorned with the Martin logo and a mother-of-pearl inlay of an eagle—a symbol of America.
Just by looking at this logo, you can tell it’s a Martin D-76!

—Tuning Machines
The tuners are GROVER 102.
They allow for smooth tuning.
