Explanation
Rich, deep sound with nimble playability. The best of both worlds in a '70s Precision!
Born in 1951 as the world's first solid-body electric bass, the Precision Bass. Needless to say, modern music as we know it wouldn't exist without this instrument. The Precision Bass has undergone slight design changes over the years since its release.
This instrument has a body date of '75, with pot dates from '74 and '75. The neck date is illegible, but based on the stamp's appearance, we believe it is original. The pickup date is also unreadable due to sponge adhesion, but it is likely original.
It features the quintessential 70s specs: an ash body paired with a maple fingerboard. Weighing in at 4.0kg, it falls into the lighter category for guitars of this era.
It delivers a powerful sound with a punchy attack. The sound attack is fast, delivering a direct, powerful output from your fingers or pick.
While the 70s are often praised for their "weight as part of the experience," this is for those who refuse to compromise on both playability and power. This one truly has the best of both worlds!
