Explanation
Martin / 1975 D-45
[Demo Video]
Weather checking is visible around the rosette and various areas of the body, but there are no cracks in the wood and the condition is good.
The pickguard has been replaced. This is a common repair seen on vintage Martins because the pickguard material and the wood's shrinkage rate differ, which can lead to cracking. This replacement helps maintain good condition without wood cracks.
The difference in material between the nut and saddle indicates the saddle has been replaced.
A strap pin has been added to the neck heel, which is very convenient for players who use a strap while performing.
One indication that pickups have been installed and played is the enlarged endpin hole. This was enlarged to accommodate the pickup's input jack.
Evidence suggests the neck has been reset. Since it doesn't feature an adjustable rod, this process is performed to ensure proper string height and playability. Consequently, the neck remains in a condition suitable for active use.

Perhaps due to the large bridge plate, its tone is characterized by a bright sound with a pleasant richness. Of course, when chords are played, the thirds and fifths ring out beautifully, and rich harmonics spread throughout the entire sound.
