Especially the Fender Stratocaster from the early 1970s was a period of exciting, rapid specification changes. Each individual guitar has its own rich character, and if you’re looking for the “sound of the 70s,” you need to understand its true value. However, finding one in good condition is extremely difficult. If you miss the timing, you may never come across another one.
What we’re introducing here is a 1971-made Blond/Ash-bodied Stratocaster. • Three-bolt joint with an early Black-bobbin pickup and Micro-Tilt • Restored one-piece maple neck (early-year specification) • Mid-1971-style head logo specification (no “WITH SYNCHRONIZED TREMOLO” marking) • Transitional combination of a separate-type tremolo bridge and die-cast saddles This unique specification creates exactly the sound and presence of 1971.
The combination of the thick ash body (approx. 4 kg) and the one-piece maple neck produces a sharp, cutting tone while each pickup position has its own distinct character. It already comes with re-fretting, so it can be used immediately for stage performances and recording as a practical working instrument.
Even within the vintage market, a 1971 Stratocaster in such well-matched condition is extremely rare. In particular, a blond Ash-bodied example has strong appeal not only in terms of sound but also visually.
