Explanation
Are you finding that modern guitars no longer satisfy you as you search for “that one guitar that’s uniquely yours”? You may be seeking the attack, presence, and timeless character unique to vintage instruments, yet you just can’t seem to find your ideal guitar. There are surely many guitarists who share this frustration.
The early 1970s, in particular, was a turbulent era for the Fender Stratocaster, marked by a series of specification changes. Each individual instrument boasts a rich, unique character, and if you’re seeking that “70s sound,” you need to understand their true value. However, finding one in good condition is an incredibly difficult task. If you miss your chance, you may never come across one again.
With that in mind, we’d like to introduce this 1971 Stratocaster with a blonde ash body. • 3-point joint featuring an early-production bullet nut and Micro-Tilt system • Revived one-piece maple neck (first year of production) • Mid-1971-specific headstock logo (without “WITH SYNCHRONIZED TREMOLO” inscription) • A transitional combination of a separate-type tremolo bridge and die-cast saddles These unique specifications create a sound and presence found exclusively in 1971 models.
The combination of a substantial ash body (approx. 4 kg) and a one-piece maple neck allows each pickup to have its own distinct character while delivering a well-defined tone. The guitar has already been refretted, making it ready to perform immediately on stage or in the recording studio.
Even within the vintage market, a 1971 Stratocaster in such excellent condition is extremely rare. In particular, this model with its blond ash body exudes great appeal not only in sound but also in appearance.
