Martin / 1970 model 000-28E
Between 1959 and 1964, three models equipped with magnetic pickups were released: the D-28E (2 pickups), D-18E (2 pickups), and 00-18E (1 pickup).
Among them, this model is the 000-28, which is not in the regular lineup.BassThis is a special one-of-a-kind item that was ordered.
-DeArmond Single-Coil Pickups
The fretboard end and the top of the bridge are fitted with Dualmond single-coil pickups.

The upper right of the body features a 3-way SWITCH CRAFT pickup selector, allowing you to switch between the front and rear pickups.
The knobs are white, just like on the D-28E.

Four control knobs are mounted on the lower right side of the body.
The top two controls are for the volume and tone of the front pickup, and the bottom two controls are for the volume and tone of the rear pickup.

Made with quarter-sawn Indian rosewood.

- Fingerboard

- Tuning Machine
Equipped with a GROVER 102 with a patent stamp.
It works well and allows for comfortable tuning.

This guitar has a substantial feel thanks to the pickups installed in the 000-28.
The rear pickup produces a sparkling tone, while the front pickup offers the warmth characteristic of an acoustic guitar.
Its 000 size makes it incredibly easy to carry.

- While there are pick marks and dents from playing, as well as paint deterioration due to lacquer softening, this is a rare and highly collectible item.
- The lower right side of the body back is peeling and has been glued down.
- Celluloid adhesive repairs have been made to the waist area on both sides of the back of the body.
- There is a crack repair on the lower left side of the body, and the crack has been painted over in dark brown to conceal it.
- The neck has been over-lacquered.
-A strap pin has been added to the neck heel.
-There are signs that the neck has been reset.
