A 1960 J-200 with a fat neck

A 1960 sunburst colored J-200.
A characteristic of Gibson guitars is that their neck grips have been getting thinner since 1960, but this particular guitar has a moderately thick, rounded neck shape that was common in the previous year, 1959.
The neck was in very good condition when it arrived, and upon closer inspection you can see that the neck has been reset and oversprayed accordingly.
It is also clear that a clog has been placed on the end of the fingerboard, and only the area around it has been oversprayed.
The pickguard has probably been repainted as well.
However, the sunburst color of the body has faded just enough, giving it a bright, vintage feel.
The Jacaranda bridge is over-lacquered.
The bridge plate has been replaced with one of the same shape, and it is clear that the neck and body have been carefully maintained.
After it arrived at our store, we repaired/reinforced the crack on the upper left side of the pickguard.
This 1960 J-200 has a fat neck and produces a great sound. It must have been well-loved by past players and the craftsmen who maintained it. It's in great condition.

The condition of the neck and wood has been inspected and adjusted by a specialist acoustic guitar craftsman, and all parts are in good condition.
In addition, the neck is adjusted straight so there is no buzzing or choking, and the string height at the 12th fret is set to an optimal state of about 2.5mm on the 6th string side and 2.0mm on the 1st string side.
There is still about 5mm to 6mm of saddle height remaining, so there is plenty of room.
