A 1959 Gibson J-200
with a pleasantly driving sound / 1959 J-200
A ’59 J-200 equipped with gold Grover tuners stamped “Patent Pend.” The combination
of the modern logo and Grover pegs exudes that classic Gibson vibe and looks incredibly cool.
From the body finish to the flame maple on the sides and back, it radiates the dignified presence befitting a champion.
The neck features a shape with moderate thickness and a soft V-shape toward the low frets. The original frets are wide, large-size frets.
If you’ve ever thought that the J-200 doesn’t sound quite as good as you’d expect given its body size, this is definitely a guitar you should try playing. Its
voluminous tone, with a slightly distorted, driven quality, is exceptional. It has quick
response and produces a clear sound right from the attack.

[Condition]
The neck and woodwork have been inspected and adjusted by a specialist acoustic guitar craftsman, and all parts are in excellent condition.
The neck has been straightened, eliminating any buzzing or muffled tones, and the string action at the 12th fret is set to optimal levels: approximately 2.5 mm on the 6th string and 2.0 mm on the 1st string.
The saddle has ample clearance, with a projection height of approximately 3 mm to 5 mm.
