--------------------------------------------------------------------------
A vintage Super Jumbo from the early 1950s with explosive treble
Gibson / 1952 J-200
A J-200 from the early 1950s "White Label" era.

The neck is densely covered in flame figure, making this a truly captivating instrument worthy of the title "King of the Flat-Tops"
The neck profile is slightly thinner than that of an early ’60s standard neck, so it still offers a solid, substantial feel.
The body sides and back also feature a nice amount of flame,
making this a fine example that truly showcases the appeal of a maple-bodied J-200.

The sound has a lively, energetic quality with a tight resonance.
The treble and midrange are prominent, giving it a powerful presence even when playing single notes.
A masterpiece with explosive power that’s a perfect fit not only for rock and pop but also for the country scene.
