A handmade mouthpiece crafted by Sebastian Knox, a mouthpiece artisan based in Toronto, Canada.After working under Ted Crum, he established his own business. Thanks to his exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous, sensitive attention to players’ needs, he has earned the deep trust of professional musicians. Since each piece is entirely handmade, production is limited; however, due to their sound potential—which evokes the pinnacle of vintage hard rubber mouthpieces from the 1940s and 1950s—the number of enthusiasts overseas is growing, and they are also highly regarded by professional musicians in Japan.

The third-generation American Series mouthpieces now in stock, like the second generation, use the highest-quality German-made hard rubber. While the second generation featured a distinct bullet-shaped baffle, the third generation is shaped through meticulous handwork to feature a gentle baffle similar to that of the original model. This mouthpiece delivers a sound that can compete on equal footing with Otto Link’s rubber from the early 19th century, while offering exceptional stability and a stress-free playing experience across the entire range.
