This is a rare, very early-production OD-1 featuring a Raytheon 3403 quad op-amp!!
Early OD-1 models featured a quad op-amp (a module containing four op-amps). While the RC3403ADB was used in the very earliest models and the NEC μPC4741C was used in units from lot #8400 to #8800, this unit features the former. The LED indicator is dedicated to the battery checker and differs from the specifications of the current BOSS Effector.Units equipped with the RC3403ADB are characterized by a somewhat tight low end, extended highs, and a crisp, bright sound. This is a rare piece that allows you to experience the original sound of the legendary OD-1!! The serial number of this unit is #7300, and it is believed to have been manufactured in August 1978. It is a one-owner item that comes with the original box and manual.
