[ Features]
The E-45 is a long-selling model from Buffet Crampon.
It is a classic instrument that many players have chosen as their “first instrument” and have continued to use for many years.
It offers a light playing feel and stable intonation.
The sound is responsive and easy to control, even in difficult registers.
It is easy for beginners to handle, yet it possesses a rich tone reminiscent of higher-end models.
The reason for its popularity over the past 20 years lies in this excellent balance.
Furthermore, this model features a special construction in which resin is bonded to the inner surface of the bore. This minimizes the risk of cracking—a common issue with wooden instruments—while having minimal impact on the tone. Its resistance to environmental changes and ease of maintenance are also major attractions.
Production has now ceased, and the model has been succeeded by the Prodige.
However, the E-45’s unique playability and craftsmanship continue to be highly regarded.
It is ideal not only for those just starting out on the oboe,
but also for those looking to build a solid foundation.
It possesses the high level of craftsmanship characteristic of Crampon, making it more than just an “entry-level” instrument.
