The A Series was developed with the concept of an electric-acoustic guitar designed to maximize performance on stage.
The A3R ARE featured here is one of its signature models.
The body features a traditional Western cutaway shape.
It combines the rich volume of a dreadnought-style guitar with the playability offered by the cutaway.
When strummed, deep, expansive bass tones anchor the rhythm,
while fingerstyle playing reveals well-separated mid-to-high frequencies, allowing melodies to float beautifully.
It truly possesses the character worthy of being called an all-rounder.
The top is crafted from solid Sitka spruce treated with A.R.E.
Yamaha's proprietary technology alters the internal composition of the wood,
reproducing the response of a vintage guitar played for years.
The attack is quick, delivering a clear resonance free of excess dampness.
Combined with solid rosewood back and sides,
creating deep bass and sparkling harmonics.
Furthermore, this model features Yamaha's proprietary scalloped bracing.
This more efficiently draws out the vibration of the top, achieving volume, responsiveness, and an airy resonance.
A major feature of this guitar is Yamaha's proprietary SRT2 pickup system.
It incorporates studio-quality microphone recordings internally, blending this sound with the piezo pickup to create an astonishingly natural amplified tone.

- The original battery compartment is unusable due to leakage, so a battery compartment has been installed inside the body.
[Playing Condition]
- String height at the 12th fret: 2.5mm on the 6th string side, 1.7mm on the 1st string side
- Saddle relief: Approximately 2.5mm to 3.0mm
- No issues with the electronics; functions perfectly.
-No issues such as buzzing or muffled notes during play.
