We’re truly sorry we can’t yet announce which models we plan to develop, but we’re moving forward with the hope that it will be possible.

The “BLUESERIES” project is finally getting underway!
Thank you very much for your continued support of GOAT’s “BLUESERIES.”
We announced the GENERATOR in 2020, and last year we successfully launched the STEREO CHORUS and STEREO ECHO.
It took four years from the initial concept to finally bring the “BLUESERIES” to life, and we are deeply grateful that all three models have been so well-received both domestically and internationally.
Regarding the sound of the GENERATOR, we’ve received comments such as, “It’s exactly the ‘Rockman’ sound I’ve always dreamed of—I’m so satisfied!” As for the STEREO CHORUS and STEREO ECHO, we’ve heard feedback like, “I’m so happy to finally experience such a beautiful sound in stereo!” In addition, we’ve received numerous comments from overseas, including, “Amazing! What a crazy team!” and “Is this the kind of thing only the Japanese can pull off?”With everyone’s high expectations weighing heavily on us—asking, “What’s next?”—we gathered the original team and explored various possibilities on several occasions. And now, we have something to share with you all.
Believing in the further potential of the “BLUESERIES” technology—which showcased Japan’s technical prowess to the world—we’ve finally launched our next project!! The “BLUESERIES” is far from over!
We’ve already discussed the direction within the project team and are carefully considering the next installment based on the requests we’ve received from you all. What will the next project be??
We knew this all along, but actually, our technical staff told us, “This is simply impossible…”
However, we feel it would be a waste to let the technology we’ve cultivated so far go to waste! It’s this passion that’s driving us to relaunch the project!
We’ll be posting updates on the project’s progress here as they become available, so be sure to stay tuned!

Behind-the-Scenes Story of GOAT GENERATOR Development, Part 1
The Rockman Distortion Generator—a circuit so unconventional that the engineer who analyzed it said, “I never want to work on a circuit this crazy again.” Looking back at our development notes, we’ll share the surprising highlights, such as “This is amazing!!,” “This is crazy!!,” and “This is genius!!.”
First up, Part 1: “This is amazing!!”
It features a function called Auto Clean (center of photo), which produces a clean sound when the guitar’s volume control is turned down.
In an era when distortion pedals were judged solely by how much they could distort, this approach was cutting-edge and reflected the unique perspective of the player himself, Tom Scholz.
According to the engineer, “It’s quite remarkable, considering that it’s only recently that people have started demanding ‘amp-like distortion with excellent response’ from Effectors.”
The original DISTORTION GENERATOR features a switch-operated auto-clean function.

This update provides information on the STEREO CHORUS, which is scheduled for release next.
We are currently working on the STEREO CHORUS in preparation for its release.
There have been some minor changes to the design from what we initially revealed.
While the original DEEP CHORUS unit only features a switch between “Normal” and “Long” modes, we plan to make the control on this new model continuously adjustable.
This will allow us to reproduce the same effects as the original while also enabling settings in between.
We’ve previously mentioned a release window of February through March, and we can’t wait for the prototypes to be ready!!

“We filmed a promotional video!” “Part 6: More News on the BLUE SERIES GENERATOR (DISTORTION) Model!!”
This time, at a studio in Tokyo, we had guitarist Yuta Sasaki perform while we filmed a promotional video for the GENERATOR (DISTORTION) model!
During the sound check for the “GENERATOR” model, we were already thrilled by how closely its sound matched that of the original unit, but when that sound came to life in an actual song, it was truly authentic—and thanks to this professional guitarist’s performance, we were able to experience it even more vividly.
Perhaps inspired by that sound, Mr. Sasaki also delivered a passionate and compelling performance!
It looks like it’s going to be a great video, and I’m looking forward to the day everyone can watch it.
By the way, after the recording, guitarist Mr. Sasaki seemed completely smitten, exclaiming, “I want this!”
I’d be especially delighted if this model goes on to be loved by many musicians!

“Prototype Sound Check!” “Part 5: Follow-up on the BLUE SERIES GENERATOR (DISTORTION) Model!!”
The other day, we reported that the first prototype unit was finally complete.
This time, we conducted a sound check for the GENERATOR (DISTORTION) model at a studio in Tokyo!
Just having the “GENERATOR” in my hands was exciting enough, but when I actually checked the sound…
It sounds exactly like the “real thing”!!!
I could play it forever… such a powerful sound!!
That distortion sound, with its unique midrange character, was perfectly reproduced.
After comparing it side-by-side with the original, if I were blindfolded, I wouldn’t be able to tell which was which!!!
Here are some impressions from other staff members as well.
“When I plugged it into the amp, turned on the effect, and cranked up the guitar’s volume, I heard that distinctive ‘hiss’—that unique noise.
In that instant, I was convinced: ‘This is the real deal!’”
According to the designer, “We could have reduced it even further, but that would have changed the vibe.” I’m truly in awe of this level of attention to detail.

The long-awaited moment. Seeing the “GENERATOR” finally take shape brings a big smile to my face.
Holding it in my hands, the solid weight feels great, and the exterior has a nice texture.
I couldn’t help but keep running my fingers over it for a while...

It’s always the same—I end up spending more time than I intended because I get too caught up in the details. There’s still room for improvement in the design and layout, so I’ll be making changes to create an even better design.

Thank you for your patience. The chassis for Unit 1 is finally complete!!!
The circuit board is already complete; all that’s left is painting and assembly. My heart is already racing with excitement.
When this many Mega Man fans and pedal enthusiasts come together, we tend to “get a little too particular” and end up spending more time on it than intended, but
we want to create something that meets everyone’s expectations as much as possible, so we’d appreciate your patience as we work on this.
Our next update is scheduled for about two weeks from now; as soon as we finish sound testing the prototype, we’ll let all our fellow fans know right away.

We’ve been receiving a lot of feedback from all over regarding the BLUE SERIES project, so here we’re releasing our second update.
“Part 2: Sound Check of the Prototype Circuit Board!”
Although this project began purely out of admiration and passion for ROCKMAN, we are, of course, committed to pursuing the “sound” to the absolute limit.
I, Sano, carried out the long-awaited sound check of the prototype circuit board!
As we mentioned in our previous post, although it is still at the circuit board stage, the discussion regarding the sound—including feedback and new suggestions—became quite heated.
Until I actually played it, I was filled with excitement—it completely blew away the fatigue from my daily work.
I used the original ROCKMAN DISTORTION GENERATOR (100V), a Gibson ’94 Les Paul Standard, and Roland JC-77 and JC-120 amplifiers.
Alright, time to focus and sharpen my senses…
Whoa, this is amazing!!!
That unique compression feel, and the warm sound when you turn down the guitar volume! Not to mention how great it feels when you play riffs!
The sound was truly very close to that of the original ROCKMAN DISTORTION GENERATOR!!
We also discussed whether, in terms of functionality, it’s better to stay true to the original, or to prioritize ease of use for modern applications. rtc…
Unfortunately, we can’t reveal any details or the actual sound just yet, but it faithfully captures the “essence” that ROCKMAN fans are looking for.
Personally, I’m thinking, “Wow, they really went all out on this!”
The schedule for the next update is still undecided, but we’ll let all our fellow fans know as soon as we have new information.

Finally! We’ve received photos of the prototype circuit board from our engineers. (It looks like they’ve been doing their jobs properly, so that’s a relief for now…)
Seeing it take shape like this really makes it feel real and builds my excitement. I spend every day feeling thrilled, even going so far as to zoom in on the photos for no particular reason.
And what about the sound we’re all curious about?
Actually! I’m heading out for a sound check next week. As for the results… I’ll let all my fellow enthusiasts know as soon as possible in the next update.
