Hello! This is Hoshino from Advance Guitars.
We’ve just published a column in our store’s music magazine featuring a thorough comparison of 14 Martin D-45s—ranging from rare pre-war models all the way up to those made in 1998!
While special features on the Martin D-45 have been covered extensively in various media, when I asked myself, “What can Advance Guitars really offer in a column about the D-45?”, I realized the answer was to measure each and every D-45 in our current inventory—as well as the rare D-45s we’ve handled over the years—and compare the differences in specifications between models. That’s how we came to write this Advance Guitars-style D-45 column.
All 14 individual instruments featured in this column are based on actual models we’ve carried at Advance Guitars. We’ve thoroughly examined not only the visible specifications but also the inner workings of the bodies, so whether you’re a Martin fan thinking, “I love the D-45 and want to learn more!” or “I’m considering a D-45—what are its characteristics?”, you’re sure to enjoy this content.
Of course, it’s free to read!
Be sure to check it out!♪
