Adamasって、Ovationの中でも別格なの? - TC楽器 - TCGAKKI

Hello, this is Mochizuki from Advance Guitars.

The rainy season has begun, and we've been having these humid days.
Sometimes I notice the humidity in my room has exceeded 70%.
To keep my instruments in good condition, I run a dehumidifier almost 24/7 at home.
I'm especially careful about humidity control in the room where my instruments are kept during this season.

Amidst this, I've recently been deeply immersed in Ovation's flagship model, the "Adamas."
The reason is that the "Adamas column article" I've been planning for some time has finally been published.

This column compiles information I researched myself, including Kaman's history book, actual measurements taken on instruments in stores, and verification results, presented as accurately and readably as possible.

A common topic of discussion is the opinion that "the early Adamas models sound better."
Some also suggest that "the top plate on the early models was thinner than current ones?" so I revisited this theory, including actual measurements, for verification.

Recently, I've had the privilege of encountering truly legendary instruments, likethe 1944 D-18 once owned by Peter Fondaand the one-of-a-kind Martin "Train."
Each guitar has its own unique story.
I sincerely look forward to continuing to introduce such guitars.

I hope this column helps more people discover the appeal of Ovation and Adamas.
Whether you're a player, an instrument enthusiast, or a retailer, this content is worth reading.
Please take a look at this column whenever you have time.
