Kanile'a Ukulele / K-1 S
Kanilea ukulele was born in 1998.
They continued to produce ukuleles smoothly, and in 2006 they moved their factory to Kaneo, Hawaii, where they continue to use the latest technology and Kanile'a Ukulele continues to be played by a wide variety of players.
Kanile'a means "beautiful sound," and regardless of size, the gentle, round sound that is unique to Hawaiian Koa and the enveloping bass will captivate players and listeners alike.
The K-1S is a standard series soprano size instrument.
The body is made of luxuriously densely grained Hawaiian Koa wood and is UV coated.
Kanile'a Ukulele uses the above paint because it has excellent acoustic properties and is highly durable.
The neck is made of mahogany and the fingerboard is made of rosewood.
With 20 frets, it's great for playing chords as well as solo ukulele.
The chords have a bright and crisp core sound, while the solos have a gentle and sweet tone.
