Again, such an overreaction...
What do you mean by "new age trumpeter"...
This way↓.
Sorry for the delay.NakamuraI am Nakamura.
Although the term "new era" is quite appropriate, I would like to introduce an interesting instrument that has just arrived at our store.
Silky MII C/SP
This is a model made by Silky using Yamaha valves and parts, and is commonly known as a "Yamakey.
At the time, Yamaha had Silky as an advisor, and many of you may know that the instruments of the time were all models that were clearly designed in the Silky style.
Apart from that, the purpose of this model was probably to expand the market for the Silky trumpet. The Yamaha "Yamakee" was born as an intermediate model.
Yamaha is partially silky.... You may be wondering why Yamaha is silky here and silky there...
The Yamakey, like the Silky, also has a B series model, while the M series, the M1 and M2, were created as intermediate models.
While the M1 used all Yamaha parts except for the trim kit, the slightly more upscale M2 also had a Silky lead pipe and bell. (*Bells in later years are said to have been made by Yamaha.)
The previous information has been long, but this is one of the few Yamakey C trumpets that has been boldly modified with an upbell.
To begin with, what kind of effect can be obtained by up-bell modification?
The point of sounding seems somewhat farther away, and the sense of resistance will often be less.
It is quite interesting to hear the sound being played at the upper point even though you are blowing with the same posture as usual, but you must feel uncomfortable at first (^^;).
However, after using it for a while, you should be able to fully feel the benefit of the upbell.
It tends to be hidden by the music stand and the conductor.Trumpet, bring it out more! You will never have to worry about that again.
It may look a little conspicuous, but your sound will fly past the conductor and into the audience.
If I were to mention a disadvantage, it would be the problem of instrument cases.
This unit came with a larger case, but you need to be careful because it cannot be stored in a standard single case.
Fortunately, we are able to provide you with the followingInstrument case enthusiast (me)I will find the perfect case for your instrument. I will find the perfect case for you.
