[What is TMG Guitars...? ]
Based in Bend, Oregon—a region rich in natural beauty—TMG Guitars is a manufacturer that pays homage to the craftsmanship and soul-stirring sound of classic vintage guitars. Working with uncompromising artists, they pursue the creation of high-quality guitars, from the wood to the hardware.
Their core mission is to preserve the essence of 1950s and 1960s guitars while offering their tone and playability at an affordable price. They are passionate about recreating vintage sounds tuned for the modern era.
Their guitars, featuring an aged finish that requires high-level craftsmanship, have a vintage appearance but are crafted using modern techniques.
They are loved by musicians around the world who are captivated by their superb sound.
At TCGAKKI, you can try out “every model” of the American high-end brand TMG Guitars!
◎TMG Guitar "Haven" (Sherwood Green / Rosewood)
With a ’60s-style look, the body is crafted from carefully selected ash and features Lindy Fralin pickups.
The neck profile is rounded yet substantial—a “thick” profile rarely seen on jazz basses!!
☆This particular instrument is the actual guitar used by Yuichi Takada of ELLEGARDEN during live performances!!
◎TMG Guitar “STETSON” (2-Tone Sunburst / Maple)
Even when you roll back the tone, the core of the sound remains. While the characteristic Precision Bass thickness is to be expected for this type of bass, what’s truly impressive is the well-defined, crisp midrange—as if tightly compressed—and the bright, punchy attack. It delivers a sound that combines power and modernity, defying its appearance♪ Highly recommended for pick players!!
◎TMG Guitar "STETSON" (Black / Maple)
Featuring a classic ’50s-style alder body and maple neck, this model is equipped with Lindy Fralin pickups. It features Hipshot tuners and a Badass II bridge, delivering a vintage-inspired look paired with a crisp, bright tone that projects exceptionally well♪

◎TMG Guitar "STETSON 5st" (Candy Apple Red / Maple)
A vintage-style 5-string model you don’t often see among Precision-type basses!!
Despite having just one pickup, its solid, weighty sound makes this an all-around model recommended for both vintage and modern players♪
The finish has more transparency than Candy Apple Red, and depending on the angle, it even sparkles—another great feature♪
Of course, custom orders are also available!!
Now available on the 2nd floor (Bass Floor) at TCGAKKI!!
