Tanaka boldly modifies a junk Warwick! He's even gone headless!?
Instead of simply repairing my Warwick, whose neck had broken, I decided to go for a headless design.Bassis.
It's a Warwick, but it doesn't have a headstock.
That's the first thing that really catches the eye.
This is a modification that you wouldn't normally do, but if you look closely, you can see that a lot of small details have been worked on.
The original Warwick logo on the headstock was cut out and transplanted to the 12th fret.
Furthermore, the serial number portion is also preserved during processing.
The original head is gone because it's been made headless, but the originalBassThis is leaving elements that were in one place in another place.BassThat's the interesting part.
The bridge area has also been modified to accommodate headless guitar parts.
They're doing something quite daring, but the more you watch, the more you start to think, "Maybe this isn't so bad after all."
After releasing this video, we actually received inquiries from customers saying, "We want to do the same thing."
I'm happy if people find the video entertaining, but it was particularly memorable when it inspired someone to actually try it on their own instrument.
While TC-TUNE's work is often associated with repairs and adjustments, this time we acquired a unit as junk,
"Since we're going to fix it anyway, let's try something a little different instead of just fixing it the usual way."
That's where it all started.
It's a somewhat mischievous idea, but sometimes that's where you can come up with something really interesting.

Even a slight change in appearance can be a significant detail or a personal preference for that person.
"This kind of specification might be a good idea too."
"It would be interesting if it looked like this."
"If it were my own instrument, this is what I'd like to change."
That kind of thinking is also one way to enjoy playing a musical instrument.
And this year, we're holding our modified guitar contest again!
This contest is open to entries not only for instruments you've modified yourself, but also for instruments modified at our shop!
Instruments that have had parts replaced or specifications modified by TC-TUNE in the past.
I didn't do the actual construction myself, but it's a musical instrument that I came up with the idea for and brought to life.
An instrument that has been customized to my liking through repairs and adjustments.
We welcome entries using those kinds of instruments!
