小河内の休暇【ロンドン〜パリ ‎ひとり旅】 - TC楽器 - TCGAKKI

Hello, my name is Ogouchi.

I am alwaysTCGAKKIThank you for your patronage of our company.

I am sorry to tell you this, but I went to England and France in June for 9 days. It was a solo trip.

I am an aerial photographer by hobby, and usually fly mainly around Haneda, but occasionally I go to air shows in various places.

Last year, when the Corona disaster had settled down, I took a long-awaited trip to the four major airports in Europe: the United Kingdom (Heathrow), the Netherlands (Schiphol), and Germany (Frankfurt), and enjoyed it very much. Charles de Gaulle), which I had not been to at any of the four major European airports. I had just learned that the Paris Air Show, the world's largest air show, was to be held at Le Bourget Airport near Paris for the first time in four years after the dawn of Corona, so I made my plans accordingly.

First, I flew from Haneda to London (about 14.5 hours) and stayed three nights, taking photos around Heathrow and Gatwick airports. I also like trains, so I chose the Eurostar (bullet train) for my trip to France. I entered Paris through the Anglo-French Tunnel in the Straits of Dover (about 2.5 hours) and stayed four nights, including two days for the air show, before returning home.

I got in touch with my Dutch friend Gilbert, whom I met on SNS last year and took pictures with for the first time in Amsterdam, and he was coming to Paris by his own car from Rotterdam, Holland.

We promised to meet again, this time in Japan.

Below is my travel album.

I hope you enjoy it.

Day 1

Heathrow Airport

The hotel was the Runway View Room introduced to me by a British airline friend, and I enjoyed 24 hours of hikikomi time!

You can take this picture from the window of the room!

Day 2

Heathrow Airport

Pleasant blue sky♪

We were blessed with fine weather throughout the entire trip!😀

British aviation enthusiasts were relaxing, taking pictures and watching the airplanes.

I love this atmosphere.

It is very powerful to see a plane descending close to you!

British Airways A380.

Britain's Flag Carrier 💃🇬🇧 Queen of Hearts

Virgin Atlantic is currently not flying to Japan.

ITA Airways, a fashionable airline🎵

I was able to capture the monogram pattern on the tail fin~!😃/

At the ranch on Myrtle Ave.

A landing plane passes by almost every minute, but the donkey doesn't mind at all!☺️

Day 3

Gatwick Airport

On this day, I took an express bus (coach) from Heathrow Airport to Gatwick Airport, about 50 km away.

Unlike Heathrow, the airport is located in a green area and felt a little quieter.

A TUI Airways plane flying between Thessaloniki Macedonia International Airport in Greece 🇬🇷 and London Gatwick Airport.

The buses are of course double-deckers!

[Day 4

LONDON to PARIS

I took the Eurostar from London St. Pancras station to Paris.

Since this is an international train, departure procedures are as strict as those at airports.

The waiting floor below the platform was crowded with people heading to France, Holland, and other countries.

The train connects London and Paris in 2 hours and 15 minutes at a maximum speed of 300 km/h.

It is a very short time, but it is complicated by the one-hour time difference between London and Paris.

I took the Eurostar last year when I went from Amsterdam to Frankfurt, and crossing borders by train is something that can only be done on the continent.

This is the front of Paris North Station.

It is beautiful, but I felt a little dangerous.

The street in the evening.

Day 5

Paris Air Show

The Paris Air Show is the world's largest international trade fair for the aerospace industry, held in Paris every two years.

Visitors arrive at the venue by train and shuttle bus to Le Bourget Airport near Paris.

The number of spectators was incredible! And it was scorching hot!

Patrouille de France, an acrobatic team from the French Air Force 🇫🇷

It was a very brilliant performance.

The sonic boom was powerful‼️ USAF🇺🇸 F-35A maneuver flight.

In addition to the USAF, fighters from the Belgian Air Force and Spanish Air Force also participated in this international show.

USAF F-35A maneuver flight and American Airlines B787 taking off from Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG)🇺🇸×🇺🇸

The excitement is the same as at Japanese air shows, and French aviation fans are also very enthusiastic!

The Eurofighter Typhoon of the Spanish Air Force 🇪🇸 roared through the air at a very low altitude!

Saving the photo evidence on the way to the venue exit!😓

The venue is vast and there are many aircraft on display that are actually flying.

Day 6

Paris Air Show

Reunion with Gilbert

Canard + delta wing is unique to European fighters!

Dassault Rafale of the French Air Force😎

Waving the camera lens around makes my eyes roll and my arms pull.

Demonstration flight by Airbus A321XLR. Passenger planes also twist their fuselages as much as possible at air shows!

Who is this strange Japanese guy?

French Air Force Dassault Rafale fighter with nice tricolor canard wings😎

The "Patrouille de France" acrobatic team of the French Air Force 🇫🇷

They were very popular on this day!

Day 7

Walking in Paris

On this day, I had planned to take airplane photos at Charles de Gaulle Airport, but I unfortunately ran out of energy at the air show.

In the afternoon, I decided to go sightseeing in Paris, which was not on my schedule.

I am bigger than the Eiffel Tower!

I was soothed by the singing of street musicians at Trocadero Square.

At the Arc de Triomphe.

Day 8

Back to Japan

I will now return to Japan with my heavy baggage.

From the window of the return flight that took off from Charles de Gaulle Airport, we could see Le Bourget Airport, the venue of the Paris Air Show.♪

That was my vacation.

Thank you for reading to the end.

Sorry for being greedy with the number of pictures.😅

I have taken more than 38,000 pictures.💦Kogochi
