Explanation
YAMAHA / 1970s L-10 Early Model
Play an E chord. That alone shows how this one stands apart. A rare early-model L-10 featuring solid rosewood for the sides and back.
The major difference between the early and late models lies in the wood used. The early model features solid Brazilian rosewood for the sides and back, while the late model uses solid Brazilian rosewood. Its robust yet delicate resonance makes it a rare gem, difficult to find today.
Its sound, characterized by rich overtones and deep bass, is truly unique to this guitar. Playing familiar pieces on this guitar reveals a different facet of the music, creating a profoundly immersive experience.
It expresses power and presence in strumming, and delicacy and elegance in arpeggios. It's a very refined instrument with a brilliant, lingering resonance that holds up well, making it a perfect match for delicate pieces. The body's resonance and response, enhanced by aging, are also excellent, and this versatility is a major appeal.
For acoustic guitar enthusiasts, owning a guitar crafted from solid Brazilian rosewood is a true dream. In other words, acquiring this guitar represents a pinnacle, the realization of that dream. Why not experience a new musical journey with this very instrument?
[Staff Comment: Mochizuki] This guitar showcases YAMAHA's signature bold design. While vintage YAMAHA acoustics often evoke images of high string action, this particular instrument stands out for its excellent playability.
