The American Elite series, produced from 2016 to 2019. Succeeding the traditional American Deluxe, this series pursued modern playability and versatile sound shaping while Bass the classic style.
This 2016 model features an ash body with a maple fingerboard, equipped with noise-free pickups in a PJ configuration. The preamp incorporates an 18V-powered active circuit. Controls include Volume, PU Balancer, Treble/Bass, Middle/Passive Tone, plus an Active/Passive mini-switch, enabling a wide range of sound shaping.
Modern specifications enhancing playability and maintainability are incorporated throughout, such as a heel-less cutaway at the neck joint and a truss rod adjustment wheel nut. This model achieves the functionality modern players seek while maintaining the classic Precision look.
It delivers a cohesive sound, combining the characteristic thick bass of a Precision with the defined attack from the rear pickup!
