It is also inevitable that this hue differs decisively from Gibson's "Sunburst."
While Gibson's sunburst traces an ellipse toward the soundhole, Martin's "Shaded Top" casts angular shadows along the body's contours. It's a modest yet deeply evocative flow of color, like dusk quietly settling along the ridgeline of trees.
