Ronnie Scott is an offset solid body product made famous by the California surf bands of the 1960s.
Originally designed for jazz musicians, the guitar's warm sound is great with a clean tone amp and spring reverb. The guitar also became very popular among guitarists who wanted a thicker tone from their bright English amps.
Our standard model has the classic lightweight ash body, 3-way pickup selector, two hand-wound TMG P90 pickups, and a rosewood fingerboard.
This model is also available in a semi-hollow version with stylish f-holes in the body.
Vintage-style Kluson tuners are available, as are maple, 5A flame maple, 5A bird's eye maple, and quarter-sawn maple necks. Fingerboards are available in Indian, Madagascar, or Brazilian rosewood. A one-piece maple neck is also available.
The Ronnie Scott features a body with an offset waist design, which provides better balance and comfort, and is available with a Callaham hardtail, Bigsby B5, or Mastery tremolo system.
