"It makes sounds and you can play with it!"EffectorAs a "way to enjoy it," this one totally stole the show! The design that lets you recognize both the BIG MUFF and a certain toy at a glance is also great. The fact that the sword is shaped like a cigar to match Mike Matthews shows thoughtful attention to detail and is fun. The playful spirit and dedication shine through in how it hasn't lost its toy functionality. And yet, it remainsEffectorThe inside is a BIG MUFF. At first glance it seems like a novelty, but upon reflection, the fact that it employs the popular method of "modifying the enclosure" is dreamy and wonderful. The fact that it's made from a child's discarded toy really resonated with me as a story. This was an exceptionally high-level competition, but this is an undisputed Grand Prix winner!
Eleven-sama has arrived! We presented the Grand Prix prize shopping voucher! ⭐️ Congratulations! ⭐️
Guitar Magazine Award
Itarian's work "GAS ECHORUS"
Selection Comments
Surprisingly few people attempt to build their own delay pedals, but this GAS ECHORUS stands out as one of the most exceptional creations in terms of overall balance, with its appearance and tone matching perfectly. While the echo itself has a familiar sound quality, it adds a distinctive "moooon"♪The exquisite chorus effect added a soothing quality reminiscent of the flickering flames seen around a campfire. The knob for adjusting the original sound and delayed sound is an interesting concept, and the long-press transmission function seems practical for live performances. Above all, I was impressed by the alluring tone that seems sure to spark a guitarist's inspiration. (Guitar Magazine)
BARKS Award
Mr. Kenji Fujiwara's work "MyRAT"
Selection Comments
Summoning the PervertTCGAKKIFamous "Modification"EffectorWhile many playful items have appeared in past contests, this entry truly shook me to the core—it didn't just incorporate a playful spirit, it threw in pure play itself. Its unapologetic drive to forge ahead regardless of functionality or practicality makes it the undisputed No. 1 in this project.
AKIMA&NEOS Award
Horiei's Work "The Allure of Carbon SD-1"
Selection Comments
The first time I saw carbon graphite was in some kind of...BassThe neck was the weak point, but more than the material's strength, I thought its appearance was cool. This pedal incorporates that look, and with incredibly meticulous finishing. Normally, you'd only think of changing the paint job for an appearance tweak, so this concept is brilliant. The careful lettering on top of that is also perfect. If this had been subpar, it would have felt too DIY and disappointing. Other details, like unifying the parts in blue, feel flawless. Plus, the sound modifications aren't pretentious; they're purely practical, which is also appealing. Akimatsuneo

matsu_log's work "(Probably) The World's SmallestEffector、
Bottle Cap Fuzz Face Nano
Selection Comments
"The world's smallest with outstanding impact. At this size, weight isn't an issue, and since it fits in your pocket, it felt appealing to me—someone who wants to carry as little as possible."
Kyōritsu & D'Addario Award
Sapporo Strobe Lights' work "Pencil BIG MUFF"
Selection Comments
This year, too, we've seen a lineup of outstanding works that are hard to rank... And then it arrived... That unexpected, out-of-the-box idea. As someone who handles EHX gear, I simply couldn't resist modifying the legendary Big Muff. That was the deciding factor.
By the way, pencil leads range from 10B to F to 10B. Those who've studied drawing might be familiar with this, but did you all know? Of course, since the composition differs for each, I imagine the sound changes depending on the lead's darkness. A new rabbit hole awaits here...

Birdland Award
Kenta Claus (YSXL)'s Work "Echoes of a Departure from Memory"
Selection Comments
I was drawn to the impact of that irresistible "bus stop button" and the nostalgic visual of signs (?) like "Passengers boarding/alighting" and "One-man operation" protruding from the body. The announcement "Next stop" playing is also an interesting and high-scoring point. The fact that it has a playful touch beyond just its appearance was a deciding factor in the selection.」
Kikutani Music Award
Over-the-Top DIY's Creation: "Wind Vibe"
Selection Comments
As for the reason I chose it,EffectorWhile it is a given, I found its greatest appeal in how it wasn't bound by the forms everyone imagines. I was also deeply moved by this kind of creation that ignores fixed notions and produces things no one would ever think of. Regarding the sound, it allows the player to express themselves in any way they choose.EffectorI hope you will help bring out its potential.」
Moridaira Musical Instrument Award
Goodsontoys' creation "V8 Fuzz / Time Machine Ver.3"
Selection Comments
Back then, I saw the DeLorean from this movie at the theater. In my memory, the DeLorean had the image of a sports car, but this time it was driving with a roaring engine like a rally car.Explosive Sound = FUZZ = A Long HistoryI felt this work evoked the image that fuzz sound is indispensable to music of any era. Thank you very much.」

Tips for Winning
EffectorIf you love it, you'll want to be particular about the sound. Modifications for that purpose are important and can be considered the primary factor. However, the purpose of this contest is to modify and enjoy together! To show it off to everyone! Therefore, customizations that show no visible changes are unfortunately ineligible.
While it is an important element, and customizing without altering the appearance is also a chance to showcase skill, I believe it would be discourteous to evaluate sound modifications and rank them. Please understand.
The concept is not to compete over modification skills, but to "enjoy with free ideas!" Even if you just stick on some decals, if your sense of style is outstanding, you could win the grand prize!
