The theme for this year is "EffectorThe theme was "How to enjoy it." We received a variety of comments, such as "I thought it was a wah pedal!", "Turning it on with a key is just like a car!", "When would you use this?", and "Perfect as a toy for children!". Many praised its eye-catching, whimsical, and fun design, and it was awarded the grand prize!

Guitar Magazine Award
"ONE FUZZ MK3 Si Ge MOD" by Kazushi Kimura
Not only did they improve convenience by replacing the transistors with silicon ones, but they also offered the option to swap in germanium transistors to enjoy the difference in sound—a specification that will impress even the most discerning fuzz enthusiasts. This unit presents the possibilities of analog from a new perspective. I want to try swapping in all sorts of different types!
BARKS Award
"Cool Face" by Combustible Trash Can
It's common knowledge that vacuum tubes, and various other elements and electronic components, change their characteristics with temperature, ultimately affecting the sound. However, the obsessive focus on germanium transistors reveals a uniquely solitary and passionate enthusiast spirit. Is he serious or just completely insane...? Temperature control is key.EffectorIn tribute to this bizarre work, please allow us to award it the BARKS Award.
Moridaira Musical Instruments Award
A work by a perpetual beginner: "Monster Jr."
Children's shoesEffectorI was drawn to the idea of using the shoe as a casing (cover?) and chose it because it appeals to me as a sneaker enthusiast. I like how the mini pedal fits perfectly inside the shoe. Shoes made from recycled shoes.EffectorI thought it would be fun to make a pedalboard that's just a bunch of pedals.
Arai Trading Award
"Excited Muff" by 22incr
I personally like BigMuff, but I was simply captivated by the design. I love mechanical things... Just looking at it makes me excited.
AKIMA&NEOS Award
Unaguitar's artwork: "Orange Squeezer"
recent years,EffectorMany of the items are digital, and there's less and less room for physical modification, but there are many brave souls here who do modify them, and I wonder if it's really a good thing that this place has become a competition of technical skill. So, this "orange juicer" is just an old kit, and the modification is so minor that it's more like the exterior was changed based on a sudden inspiration for the name, but I thought it was a very important entry for this contest because it shows that you can enter even if you don't know anything too complicated. At the same time, this kit also has some really good ideas, like removing the back cover of the L-shaped horn plug and attaching it to the chassis, which surprised me. Its practicality is also excellent. This is itEffectorI chose this because it represents the origin of [the series/work].
Studio Penta Awards
ATC's work "Gaming Wah for Arcade"
Both "guitar" and "game" are verbs, and their essence might be similar. Two-player mode recommended.
Birdland Prize
A work by Shiroto no Fubenriya-sama: "iPhone Modified MultiEffector"
The casing immediately catches the eye with its "Is this an iPhone!?" appearance, while also offering practical multi-functionality.EffectorWe made our selection based on the following criteria.
Solid Bond Award
Robotta's work "DoGTaGFuzz (Dog Tag Fuzz)"
The name is cool! It's simple to use, and it produces a great fuzz sound—it's great!
Kyōritsu Corporation Award
A DIY project by "Excessive DIY": "Electro-Harmonix dedicated battery case"
modificationEffectorOne of the most impactful and memorable entries in the contest's history! The moment I saw Mike Matthews shining so brilliantly, I knew that as an EHX distributor, there was no way I could pass up this item. Amazing! I'm (personally) looking forward to future developments, such as models with more pronounced shine and color variations!
Kikutani Music Award
A work by Jigoku no Shigen-sama: "Ordinary Bass OverDrive"
As a bassist, this was a piece that made me want to actually play the music. I also thought it fit the theme of this project.
