This marks the second time for the modified guitar contest.
The total number of entries was a whopping 83!

The judges carefully examining the entries. They all seemed to be having a great time, but their eyes were fixed intently on the works.

As expected of professionals working with musical instruments, they meticulously checked every detail. The judging was conducted with great enthusiasm in a fun atmosphere.

The judging was fierce with so many outstanding entries. Though the judging session has finally concluded, everyone's discussions about their custom guitars show no signs of stopping...

After that, we moved locations and the guitar talk continued late into the night. Truly, everyone here is a gathering of guitar enthusiasts. Thanks to you all, it was a truly enjoyable judging session. The Grand Prix winner will be decided based on the results of this judging session and the votes cast by everyone at the store.

And the results I was curious about...

Sponsored Awards

Congratulations to all the award winners!

After completing the review

The most common feedback we received from our sponsoring judges in this contest was "I was deeply moved" and "I'm glad we could sponsor this." We were confident that the passion each entrant poured into their work came through clearly. Precisely because these judges are distinguished figures in the musical instrument industry—involved in designing, manufacturing, distribution, and publishing—they could share in the profound emotion of how much effort and hardship went into creating these pieces.Seeing so many passionate individuals dedicated to musical instruments surely provided a positive stimulus for the industry. It was particularly memorable how delighted all the judges looked as they interacted with the entries.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the companies that sponsored this event, to the many participants who entered, to everyone who voted in-store, and to all those who supported us online.

Outstanding entries that passed the first round of judging

Although they did not win an award, we are pleased to introduce the outstanding entries that passed the first round of judging and moved everyone at this judging session.

Attention!

Pursuing sound quality is very important, but... I'll have to pass on this one as well. m(_ _)m
For guitarists, obsessing over sound is a given. That's why swapping out pickups, wiring, capacitors, and such is a highly effective customization. It's arguably the primary factor to consider when modifying a guitar. However! This contest is about modifying your guitar to enjoy it together! Show it off at the Instrument Fair! Therefore, customizations that don't result in visible changes to the guitar's appearance are unfortunately ineligible. While this is a very important element, and customizing without changing the appearance is also a great way to showcase your skills, judging and ranking modifications based solely on sound would be disrespectful. We appreciate your understanding.
Enjoy playing guitar! That's our concept. Even if you just stick on some stickers, if your sense of style is amazing, you could win the grand prize!
