First Round: Photo Screening
Second Round: In-Person Screening

The first round of judging is based on photographs. We look forward to receiving entries that showcase your individuality, such as innovative ideas or visually appealing designs.

Entries that pass the first round will advance to the second round. To qualify, you must bring or mail your entry to TCGAKKI by September 23, 2026, and allow us to keep it in our care until the results are announced.
(If your entry wins a prize, it will be displayed at TCGAKKI for one month following the announcement.)

Anyone may enter as long as their entry aligns with the theme of this event.
As long as the modification is based on your own idea, it does not necessarily have to be entirely your own work.
Since we will feature the submitted entries on our official YouTube channel, only works that can be made public are eligible.
Please note that entries that may infringe on the copyrights of others (such as those using copyrighted illustrations or brand logos without permission) may be disqualified.

Every guitarist wants to perfect their sound. Modifications aimed at achieving this are crucial and could be considered the most important factor. However, since the purpose of this contest is to “modify your guitar so we can all enjoy it together! Let’s show it off to everyone!”, customizations that do not result in visible changes to the guitar’s appearance will unfortunately be excluded.

While that is certainly an important element—and customizing a guitar without changing its appearance is indeed a testament to one’s skill—we believe it would be disrespectful to judge and rank entries based solely on sound modifications. We ask for your understanding.

The concept here isn’t to compete in modification skills, but rather to “enjoy your guitar with creative ideas!” Even if you simply stick on a sticker, you could still win the Grand Prize if your sense of style is outstanding!
