This product is an accessory called a "Strap Ring (official name: US. Molle Strap Ring)," a hook that can be used for a variety of purposes. It is still attached to the latest Molle-style bulletproof vests and vests used by the U.S. military, and is mainly used to hold rifles. The material conforms to MIL standards (U.S. military standards) and is rarely available to the general public.
We were fortunate to be able to contract directly with ORDNANCE, a manufacturer of equipment for the U.S. Marine Corps and Army Special Forces stationed in Okinawa, to produce THE Secondhand Music Store's original straps and rings.
This product is exactly the same as the one currently used by the U.S. military, with blood type identification embroidered on it. This is to ensure prompt blood transfusions in the event of injury during military service.
(Note: This is a U.S. military notation and is not valid for domestic use.)
The fabric is "WBCOR/100 Mil-W-43668 (MIL standard)" and has the strength to withstand 1,900lbs (approx. 860Kg). Two fabric colors are available (black/green). The hook part is called "H&K Hook" and is a reinforced version specially designed for rifle slings. The DOT Button also complies with MIL standards.
