This is the true high cost-performance! The Hercules series, boasting the acclaimed affordable price and quality from HADES/ORTHROS, now has a new version!!

 

What kind of pedal is this?

While the original Hercules model was inspired by vintage RAT pedals and perfected using our shop's prized references, this time it's the low-gain version!

When you think of the RAT, you probably imagine that powerful distortion sound

. The RAT is characterized by a texture where fuzz, distortion, and overdrive elements all intertwine complexly.

This time, the savvy way to use it is to dial back the gain for a crunchy tone. In fact, Organic Sounds and we noticed that this approach has become mainstream

. However, with the RAT, as you reduce the gain, the midrange and low end tend to disappear – essentially overcoming that weakness!

It's distorted, yet maintains great separation and a pleasantly gritty feel! Haven't many of you been wishing for a pedal like this?

 

Organic Sounds, with deep respect and understanding for the original, created this superb pedal imbued with their strong conviction: "We didn't want to compromise."

It avoids over-compression while still offering OD-range compression feel, delivering great extension even at low gain.
Rather than just being a modified RAT, we also wanted to present it as a new overdrive option!

Using the RAT as an overdrive is incredibly cool, but it still feels a bit thin in the midrange.
We beefed it up to give it that true overdrive presence.
