Hello! This is TCGAKKI!

We’re excited to announce a new pedal from Organic Sounds—the brand that has captivated countless pedal enthusiasts!

Hmm, a white “Hercules”!?

Its name is

Organic Sounds “Hercules W”

！！！！！

This is a brand-new version of the “Hercules” series—which boasts the same affordable price and high quality as the HADES and ORTHROS models, both widely acclaimed for their exceptional value!!

So, what kind of pedal is this?

The Hercules was originally a model inspired by the vintage RAT and developed using our store’s prized collection as a reference—and this time, it’s the low-gain version!

When you think of the RAT, you probably imagine that powerful distortion sound.

The RAT is characterized by a texture where fuzz, distortion, and overdrive all intertwine in a complex way.

The connoisseur’s way to use it is to dial back the gain for a crunchy tone. In fact, Organic Sounds and we noticed that this approach has become the mainstream trend.

However, with a standard RAT, as you turn down the gain, the midrange and low end tend to disappear—but we’ve overcome that weakness!

It’s distorted, yet it has great clarity and a pleasant, gritty texture! I’m sure there are many of you who’ve been wishing for a pedal like this, aren’t there?

Created by Organic Sounds—a company that deeply respects and understands the original—this is a fantastic pedal imbued with their strong conviction: “We don’t want to make it worse.”

Check out the sound and impressions from Sano & Tsushima now on the TCGAKKI YouTube channel!

We confidently recommend this pedal even to longtime RAT fans!!

We also received a comment from Mr. Watanabe, the builder at Organic Sounds!

“I think the defining characteristic of the Hercules W is that it’s just the right amount of aggressive while still offering a smooth, silky sustain.
It’s not overly compressed, but it has that overdrive-style compression feel and great sustain even at low gain.
I don’t want it to be seen just as a ‘RAT mod’—I’d like to release it as a brand-new overdrive pedal!

Using the RAT as an overdrive sounds really cool, but the midrange does feel a bit thin.
We’ve fleshed that out to give it the presence you’d expect from a true overdrive.”
