リペアマンが一番使う道具の話 - TC楽器 - TCGAKKI

Hello everyone.

This is Repairman Tanaka.

What is the most important tool for guitar repairmen to use in their work?

Probably.Phillips head screwdriverI think.

Parts of any guitar are attached with screws.

You are surely using a Phillips screwdriver the most every day, loosening that screw and tightening that screw.

This is a report that I bought a new Phillips screwdriver.

PB SWISS TOOLS  Swiss Grip Phillips

This is a screwdriver called

"PB SWISS TOOLS".

If you know tools, you know

Made in Swiss

This is a well-known brand with high quality that is 100% manufactured in our own factory in Switzerland.

It is also a brand that I personally admire.

I was excited to buy a screwdriver that I had been using for many years because it was getting worn out. (I said "excited", but it is not that expensive.)

What is the difference between an ordinary screwdriver and a high-quality screwdriver?

You may think so.

They are totally different!

I am surprised!

The screwdriver fits perfectly on the Phillips-head part of the screw without any excess or deficiency.

When the screwdriver is turned, 100% of the force applied is transmitted to the screw, and the screw turns smoothly!

It feels like only 70% of the usual force is needed.

What the heck, this is a good screwdriver!

I am impressed.

Right away.Mr. Koyamauchiand for a while the two of us were having a lot of fun turning various screws.

I am glad I bought it.

We tend to get tendonitis from turning screws too much, but this screwdriver seems to reduce the burden on our bodies.

The tools of the trade have a great impact on the work of the repairer.

Good work comes from good tools," as the old people used to say.

I am not as good as Kobo Daishi, so I decided to choose good tools.

Today I talked about the tools I often use, but I also have a video of me battling with wind instrument repair people with maniac tools. Take a look.
