This metal pickguard exudes a rugged yet luxurious feel, enhanced by an ultra-cool, unique design. This is a must-have item for anyone with a unique sense of style—it instantly transforms an ordinary guitar into a special, one-of-a-kind custom instrument. In addition to the classic Stratocaster, the lineup includes models for SSH and Telecaster configurations, and with new designs being added all the time, you won’t want to miss a thing!
It’s not just “cool”!!
This pickguard boasts a sturdy 1.5mm thickness and was selected from numerous prototypes based on sound, appearance, and durability. As expected from B,W&R—renowned for their guitar craftsmanship! It’s not just about looks. Thanks to the nature of the metal, the sound has a nice, sparkling edge and exudes a sophisticated, alluring presence. (*1)
It also offers enhanced shielding and improved resistance to noise (*2), so it’s far more than just a decorative piece. As you’d expect from an accessory guard designed by a guitar craftsman!
*1 The sound varies depending on the body material and pickup characteristics.
*2 While noise resistance is improved, it does not eliminate noise.
A wide variety of designs! Choose from our engraving patterns!
There are two types of engraving patterns

Black Line
A design meticulously engraved and finished with black paint. The black lines against the bare metal surface further accentuate the unique design. Its appeal lies in the gorgeous finish that emphasizes the impact of the design.

Plain
The Plain option is recommended for those who want to enjoy the texture of the engraving as-is. The way the design appears and disappears depending on the angle of the light is alluring, and with use, it develops a subtle, timeless charm that never grows old. It’s also slightly more affordable than the Black Line, which is another plus.
You’ll Want Them All! The Access Guard Collection

Gorgeous Textured Leaf
(Plain version not available.)
This design brings together the contrasting themes of recreating the vitality of plants on a metal surface. Since electric guitars are actually made of wood, this leaf design might just be the perfect match. B,W&R’s top recommendation.

Cute Fairy-Tale Dragon
(Plain finish not available.)
Even a classic dragon design gets a whole new look in the hands of B,W&R. It features a gorgeous dragon engraving, but its expression is actually super cute. It looks cool from a distance and cute up close—two great looks in one? It’s sure to be a hit with girls, too.

Feel Like a Treasure Hunter
Plain versions are also available.
Long ago, in a time before Google Maps, men set out on journeys with just a map and a compass in hand, searching for treasures far away. This compass design captures that spirit for the modern age. Where is the treasure you’re looking for?

A Rock Classic! Skull
You can also choose the plain version.
Once upon a time, Ikkyu Sōjun (that’s Ikkyu-san as an adult) is said to have walked through the streets from New Year’s Day onward with a skull attached to the end of his walking stick, admonishing people, “Don’t get carried away just because it’s New Year’s; always remember that life in this world is constantly face-to-face with death”… But putting that story aside, the skull symbol is simply a must-have for rock. Thanks to B,W&R’s design, it’s been reborn with a cool and sharp look.

A Must-Have for Gals! Fantastic Heart
You can also choose the plain version.
This is definitely our top pick in the “Cute!” category! If you’ve been struggling to find guitar designs geared toward girls, this is the perfect fit for you! It’ll instantly transform even an ordinary guitar into a “Gal Special”! It’s sure to add a touch of glamour to your stage performance. It’s also an item we’d love to see male guitarists try out, thinking, “I’m gonna win the girls’ hearts with this!”

Simple & Cool Trim
You can also choose the plain version.
Designed for tough guys who don’t want unnecessary embellishments and prefer a solid, no-nonsense, heavy-duty look.
The lines applied only to the outer edge give it a sleek, refined presence and create a ruggedly handsome look. With a style that seems to suit any guitar, could this be the secret number one favorite!?

It’s not psychedelic!? Paisley
You can also choose the plain version.
People always call it “psychedelic” and treat it like a symbol of the ’60s and ’70s, but when you look at it like this, isn’t it actually a really modern and stylish pattern? Paisley, I mean. The fact that it’s engraved in monochrome on a metal surface actually makes the pop and sharpness stand out—I’m only now realizing what an amazing design this is. This metal paisley isn’t retro; it’s more like something from the near future, and it’s really cool. But I think pairing it with a pink paisley Stratocaster to go all out is totally fine, too…

There’s a version for Telecasters, too!
This wild pickguard suits the Telecaster’s simple, rugged image perfectly. Because the Telecaster is so simple, there’s no doubt that just one pickguard can completely transform its look. If you’ve ever thought, “Telecasters surprisingly don’t have many unique custom parts,” then this is the perfect match for you!
A Commitment to Handcrafting

The B,W&R logo and a serial number are engraved on the back of every accessory guard before it ships.
Every pickguard we’ve introduced is carefully finished one by one using precision machinery and the skilled hands of master craftsmen. They’re created through a painstaking process that involves scaling up design sketches to actual size and carving each intricate pattern by hand. For example, just the eyes on the skull design above reportedly take hours to complete. What’s more, even after spending over ten hours on a piece, it’s not uncommon for a design to be scrapped because the finish doesn’t meet expectations! Since only pieces finished with such strict attention to detail are shipped, each design is a strictly limited edition. Apparently, there are many new ideas in the works, so it’s unclear how long the designs featured here will continue to be produced. While that’s a bit of a shame, it also means we have new designs to look forward to. Either way, we can’t take our eyes off B,W&R in the future!

Who knew a standard Strat could look this gorgeous!!
